Checking the status of recommendation data generation (Frosmo Control Panel)

You can check the data generation status and duration for a recommendation configuration in the Frosmo Control Panel.

If you're creating your own Frosmo application, you can get the data generation status and duration with the Graniitti API.

Checking the status of recommendation data generation

To check the data generation status for a recommendation configuration:

  1. In the Frosmo Control Panel, in the sidebar, select More > Recommendations.

  2. Select the Configurations tab.

  3. In the recommendation configurations list, find the configuration you want to check, and check its status next to the quick menu button.

    The status can be one of the following:

    • New: Recommendation data generation has yet to be scheduled.

    • Scheduled: Recommendation data generation has been scheduled. Depending on how many other recommendation configurations are in the queue, it might take anywhere from a fraction of a second to several minutes before the data generation starts.

    • Started: Recommendation data is being generated.

    • Success: Recommendation data was successfully generated.

    • Failure: Recommendation data generation failed.

    The status updates dynamically on the page, so you don't have to refresh the page.

Checking how long it took to generate recommendation data

To check how long it took to generate the data for a recommendation configuration:

  1. In the Frosmo Control Panel, in the sidebar, select More > Recommendations.

  2. Select the Configurations tab.

  3. In the recommendation configurations list, find the configuration you want to check, and click to expand its row.

  4. Check the Last successful generation time field.
