Platform policy

Frosmo as a company always complies with national and regional regulations, and follows UI development and online marketing best practices. You cannot use the Frosmo Platform for any purposes that infringe national and regional laws and regulations.

When using the Frosmo Platform, you must adhere to the following guidelines. If you fail to do so, Frosmo reserves the right to temporarily disable all Frosmo services and functions on your site.

Ad serving

As a general rule, you cannot use the Frosmo Platform as an ad serving solution to display commercial 3rd-party content or to link outside your site. However, you can integrate the Frosmo Platform with your marketing automation system.

You cannot use the Frosmo Platform to...

  • Display ad banners on large media sites where there can be hundreds of thousands of daily modification displays and/or page views.

  • Display ad banners from real-time bidding (RTB) systems or other automated ad queuing systems that can be connected to multiple ad serving solutions or bidders.

  • Feed content automatically from an RTB system or similar to the Frosmo back end for the purpose of showing that content on a website.

You can use the Frosmo Platform to...

  • Display ad banners that do not link outside your site, or that link to other sites owned by the same company.

  • Feed targeting or retargeting data to ad serving solutions, RTB systems, or other similar services.

  • Show a limited amount of 3rd-party commercial content in case the content is manually entered to the Control Panel, but only when this type of usage of the platform has been explicitly agreed with Frosmo.

  • Create a content placement for an ad serving solution, but only when this type of usage of the platform has been explicitly agreed with Frosmo.

Analytics tool integrations

You can use the Frosmo Platform to track and improve the key metrics of your website, such as page view, bounce and exit rates, clicks, and conversion rates. You can also use a separate web analytics tool. In this case, it makes sense to integrate the analytics tool with the Frosmo Platform.

You cannot use the Frosmo Platform to...

  • Purchase you analytics tool accounts.

You can use the Frosmo Platform to...

  • Add the tracking code for an analytics tool to your site. The Frosmo Platform can act as a container for the code.

Data processing

As of 25 May 2018, Frosmo must comply with the enforceable EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). According to the definitions of the regulation, Frosmo is a data processor, processing personal data on behalf of its customers.

According to the regulation, personal data is any information related to an identified or identifiable natural person ("data subject"), including:

  • Name, postal address, email

  • Social security number, date of birth

  • Gender, profession

  • Fingerprint

  • Car registration number

  • Credit card number

  • Image, video

  • IP address, device ID

  • Conversion ID, transaction ID

You cannot use the Frosmo Platform to...

  • Collect, process, and/or store any personal data unless explicitly agreed with Frosmo.

  • Push personal data to the Frosmo back end through the data layer unless explicitly agreed with Frosmo.

  • Transfer personal data collected through the Frosmo Platform on your site to your back-end systems or third-party systems (for example, marketing automation platforms) in unencrypted emails.

You can use the Frosmo Platform to...

  • Collect, process, and/or store personal data when explicitly agreed with Frosmo in writing. However, you (the customer) are ultimately responsible for:

    • Making sure that the purpose of the personal data gathering and processing is lawful

    • Providing the data subject with adequate information regarding data gathering and processing

    • Making sure that the data subject has given their consent to personal data gathering and processing
